Holy crap, I just watched the first episode. INSTANT hook. I love stories where characters show massive potential. The characters in this anime are all so likable, except that rotten father who thinks women are beasts ._.;

Going to watch the rest of what is subbed and then the unsubbed RAW. Be back with a status report later.

In the mean time, what do you guys think? Have you guys seen it, or plan to see it?

But im a bit wary.... you know iv'e seen TV shows and animes, where the first ep is like.. WOW! (take spyral for example...) and it kinda gets a bit mushy wushy as the story develops... but of course theres always such things as a a perfect anime (At least i like to think so)

SOoo basically all i know is this.

1. Kure-nai, or japanese for "crimson", supposedly much different from the manga because of a feeling of slice of life lightly mixed in.
2. Has 6 episodes (to my knowledge) with the first 3 (about) i think subbed XD
3. First released this year April the 3rd

Heh, 6 episodes out, 1 raw, 5 subbed.

I watched all 5 subbed, about to watch the raw. It's a pretty nice anime. It's not PERFECT, I mean, some things could use some work, but it's a good over all anime -So far-. Murasaki is so cute, but she's really full of herself XD. Maybe that's cute.

Anyways, I expect tons from this anime and more DETAILS about the characters in the later episodes. The action scenes are BAD ASS btw.

The subbers doing this anime are speed subbers. Usually speed subbers skip karaoke, but they gave at least the text to us. The timing is off in a few of the episodes and that was getting extremely irritating. The translations were on par, but some mistakes were found.

Omgosh, im luck i didnt sub it = = with all that you woudlve of broken my heart, about... 8 times XD!

But hey, you sure know your stuff VERY VERY well now and if already its like a totally different level maybe? Gosh suvi your getting pro .

Im going to download it as soon as my billing period comes around (in about a week) before then could you link me ?

I need space for encoding, so if I'm just going to delete it after watching it, I might as well just stream it.

Its like an action scene turning into a porn scene = =? I think i went a bit over exaggerated there, but i rather have things develop, rather then in one episode they obtain a uber technique and blow everything to bits in less then a second etc etc= =, well thats what i dont like too much of, but hey if its good.. its good.

Note: Your being to cruel too your self == , as a human ones self is ones largest critic, yours doing better then before and there is no limit (for now) XD. Do your best. And sleep for fudge sake.

Who knows, ive only seen the titles of the first 6 episodes... where did you get 12 from.

Most anime usually have 13 episodes or 26. OVAs tend to be 3.

I wish it wasn't 13 episodes long... I cant really see them be able to flesh out the characters in such a small amount of episodes... So much potential o_O

That's not it Ren-kun. The characters in Kure-nai have massive potential for being great characters, but pulling it off in 13 episodes isn't exactly easy. There aren't that many characters in Kure-nai, it's the same amount of characters for most anime.

Well ok maybe i should re position my self. Theres only two kind of animes that are short and have lots of charcters. Their either really crap OR their really good, its too hard to pin-point an in between. And from raves of this anime, im very sure its the better side. Hahahah.
