Kanokon AMV Help Requested.

So all episodes of Kanakon are out and like I mentioned I would like to try making an AMV out of it.

First Request;
I need your help I need to find the RAW of all episodes so if you know a place where I can get it through torrents or direct ddl than post them here. (The RAWs should be avi.) ^^

Second Request;
If you know a song that would fit for an AMV using Kanakon then post the Song and the Artist here. It would be helpfull if you could also upload it but you don't have to maybe I already have the song or someone else can upload it if you can't. ^^


P.s. If we get a lot of different songs than we will make a small vote to see which one we will use.

Err i got a nice song ? But does it have to be jap? Or can we suggest english songs =].

Actually I prefere English songs so I can try matching the Lyrics with the actions. That would be a bit difficult since I don't understand japanese.

This was the only place I could find all the episodes, as well as having the most seeders.
I can't say what file type they're in right now. I'm downloading one to see.

I'd have to watch the anime to get a feel for what song(s) would best match it. However, I can't bring myself to watch this anime since I first checked it out.

For the music, I don't think that you have to watch it since I want to match the video with the music.
So I will try to pick the right images to fit the song you choose.
That's a bit the funny part of the whole thing you can take a comedy anime and make it look like a romance adding the right music. ^^

The song has been split into the respective male female rows.

A good idea when they sing both is to split the screen for both chizuru and kouta ~

Yeah but if you read the lyrics the female and the male want it both but Kouta is struggling all the time. There are only a few moments where he doesn't and even there he doesn't look comfortable. ^^
So itmight be very difficult to make it fit but I might try that one.

Any other suggestions?

A Perfect Circle has a good song, 3 Libras.
From what I saw, it seemed the female was rather pushy and never really listened to Kouta ("You don't see me").

Then a favorite of mine from Sneaker Pimps, 6 underground. A rather sexy sounding song. Although I'm now reminded of Itazura na Kiss when I listen to it.

I can't really think of any. Perhaps a repetitive techno song or techno rock song. Few lyrics, so there isn't much of a worry about matching the video with the song.

I kinda lost track of things and ended up just listening to tons of bands/songs. (sorry about that)

If we look at the other AMV's what really went well (from the other post) is that the song was not to fast xD OR it had a noticable beat which scenes/effects could be timmed to ~ something like slow RNB? But hey thats kinda IMO.

I wan't to do something different. Where is the point in doing AMV's when they all have the same style?

It's not that bad I think it could work out but even that could be kind of difficult.

Ok thats got all votes from me ~ even people form my school tell me its kinda slutty >;3 (very suitable xD).

I've got another song which I will use for sure I think it will be kind of funny.
So I will make 2 Kanokon AMV's one with the song we choose here together and another one as special. XD

The lyrics of "Hot" are matching right good but I'm not to satisfied with the beat and the lyrics are very repetitiv.

This part is repeted 4 times:
"You make me so hot
Make me wanna drop
You're so ridiculous
I can barely stop

And 2 times in a row at the end and since I don't want to reuse the same scenes again and again it might be difficult to find enough scenes that go with it.

So if anyone has another song that he likes. I'm willing to hear. ^^

On the subject of making things =3! After this do you think we have the resources to make dodgy episodes while suvi is gone xd?

Yes I think this might be possible but we can't change the frontpage so there won't be any new and the people won't know that there are new episodes. So even if we are able to do it I think it will be useless.

Anyways.. do you have a clip it of what you done so far? If we can't choose a song, might as well use one and make changes to our liking ?

I will starting to work on one tomorrow maybe I will post a raw verion of it during the week.

But don't expect to much I will use a new programm which I didn't worked with so there might be some problems that I will have to solve first. ^^
I will have to get a bit used to it.

Yeah I have to warn you I take criticism very badly. ^^

But I will try to make an exception here because I asked for help to begin with. ^^

I think I will have a first raw version with the song I chose for this weekend. I have to redownload episode 4-6 because the resolution is different from the other eps I have. ^^
After finishing that version I will start to make the one with the song that we will choose here.
I will start the voting for the song on Wednesday so if you know other songs that you want to compete, post them till then. ^^

I don't like what I got till now but I never like what I do. XD
Maybe I will upload one or two of the AMV's a made a while ago in the AMV thread but I nearly lost them all after my old pc broke down. I still have my first 1 and 2 others that aren't finished(Raw versions without effects etc)

Well effects are something you consider after once everything else comes to place.

Show it to us now =], and you can decide on effects later.


Its just like doing a project, you shove all the data first (with basice layouts) then consider effects and detailed layouts afterwards. (thats something people say you should do, but im not to sure about others).

Ok due to some personal problems I won't be able to upload a first RAW of the Kanokon AMV this week.

The problems are not serious it's just that I don't have the time to work on the AMV.
But I will upload the First AMV I ever made in the other thread this Week-end. (I hope so XD)
