IIDX First Banner Competition!

Hello everyone Ren-kun here

I would like to begin to tell you the proceeding of this community first kind-of-major event! FUN FUN FUN!

This event will be moderated by the 3 current mods Evasive, Blayce, my self and monitored by Suvi.

This event will be split into three sections ^_^!

Current Name: IIDX 1st Banner Competition

Scheduled Start Time: 3:00 PM Friday (New York, USA), 16th May 2008 please click Here to find out what time it will be at your residence.

Ren-kun: Will be organizing guidelines/rules for this event, moderating a discussion thread in the "suggestions" section on what could be added/change and a final announcement in the "News" section. This post may be deleted and remade after final confirmations and thumbs-up by Suvi.

Evasive: Will be organizing 2 threads as well. Under "General" one thread will be for Renders, where ANYONE can post up renders they would like to see up in the banner, or anime characters, text font etc -Limit on discussions are enforced. Another thread will be provided and moderated by Evasive to allow for chit-chat related to the subject and any request to be made.

Blayce: Will be organizing 2 threads as well. Also under "General" one thread will contain the submissions, where any completed work will be posted, the passing submissions will be moved to the first post. After the deadline is passed, another thread will open, this (also moderated by Blayce) will contain the final submissions and a decisions either done by votes, or however Blayce decides it to be judged will be pinned up.

By the end of the Competition there will be a set amount of finalists. This will be turned into a banner which will change at a set amount of time. My self or another approved person may carry out this duty. There will be a separate vote/decision on how fast it will change, currently the intervals can be set to 1-10 seconds adjustable by centi-seconds.

Submissions will be taken until the end of May, Voting and decisions will be done over a 10 day window period after submissions are finished.

This post is locked. This Post and its following content can only be changed by god. (Which really in the end, Suvi)

Rules

1. The only size acceptable is 900 by 280 pixels. Any submissions larger or smaller then this size will not be accepted.

2. Currently the recommended size (in KiB) is 150KiB±100KiB (this limitation can be challenged) per banner. (We don't wanna eat joo downloads)

3. Only 1 banner per person. You may replace it with another if you wish by PMing one of the mods.

4. Banners should be made so they are less then a R+18 rating (However sexy ones are permitted <3)

5. Banners MUST have have "IIDX Fansubs" somewhere presentable on it. Any other text, quotes are currently allowed but will be moderated to a lenient extent, please refer to rule 6 for more information.

6. We (Moderators/Admins) exercise the right to deny submissions, however if the moderator adds a note that you may "appeal", do so by appealing in the relative suggestion/discussion page. (E.g. If you wish to re-appeal a taken down render you must appeal in the render discussion thread)
