Laws of the Forum!

The following rules are currently in place and are being enforced.

Forum Related Rules

1. Follow Netiquette, it is the basics of internet behavior, e.g. don't join into/start flames or contribute to any of it, keep things quick, short, and straight to the point etc.

a) Flaming, Racism, threats is not allowed. This is not a Jerry Springer show, nor is it a Dr Phil/Judge Judy show, So please don't treat this forum as one.
b) Before hitting the "send" button, please make sure what you send is what you intend, consider situations of yourself, others and outside influences. If your unsure if your message can mean elsewise, make use of emotions so other people do not mis understand.

2. No cross posting (posting the same thing over different sections etc)

3. Try not to stray away from the topic. (I understand this is very hard, so certain extents of straying will result in different actions against it)

4. Do not double post. Simple rule. If no one is replying to your topic, tough luck. It means no one here knows what you want.

5. Keep your language to a minimum. We don't want to have profanity swinging from left to right

6. No 3 word replies. All replies must be kept with 7 words or more. If any less, your post will be deleted and you will be warned. You want to say something that short, then leave it to PMing

7. Keep the forum categories in mind. If it says General Anime and you start on a topic about how your girlfriend dumped you, your topic will be moved and you will be warned.

8. Advertising is strictly forbidden. Don't advertise your personal interests here. If we see a thread with the first post as a link to the site, it will be deleted and you will be BANNED. No warnings for this one.

(I.E. Title: Trickster, Post: Hey, I like Trickster, it has blah blah blah. Go see it at http://www.iamnowbanned.crap)


Anime Related Rules.

1. Avoid spoiling. There is a spoiler tag in the [Others] button under the Bold and Italics button when you post a reply or a thread. Do not spoil anything.

2. Do not ask when it will come out, you just have to be patient and wait. Anime is free and as such, you must have patience to accommodate for that.

3. When there is a request not to do certain things, please respect it, such as when the subbers ask those who upload IIDX subbed videos to streaming sites, to either stop or not add tags which could relate it back to this community (which might leave the community in a bit of a pinch)


Miscellaneous Related Rules/Guidelines.

1*. When uploading any pictures using either the in-built forum up-loader, or something like imageshack.us please make sure your pictures are less then a width of 900 pixels and not excessively large in size (no set limit currently), this is the recommended max width (Please use the banner as a reference if you are unsure).

2*. Inappropriate linking to youtube videos, dailymotion videos which are off-topic are not allowed.

*(Currently requires more details on "Inappropriate" and general guides of width size)

All moderators and administrators are exempt from these rules.
This means we know how to follow rules and even if we have the power, we will not abuse it. Do not question the moderators.

Note: More details into consequences will be later added. However for the time being any decisions related to punishments or consequences made by Admins are FINAL.
